Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP)
In January 2019, Senate Bill 603 (2018) and House Bill 1606 (2018) created new requirements for local school districts to provide access to virtual education for students through the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) organized through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
Virtual Learning is an alternative educational option for students. Full and part-time options are provided for students in accordance with Missouri law. MOCAP provides more specific information on the different programs. For additional information, please visit the MOCAP website.
